Kevin anD Jennifer LucAS | OWNERS
Kevin is a graduate of Johnson & Wales Charleston, and was formerly the Executive Chef and General Manager of The Brown Street Club, as well as the Executive Chef and General Manager of The Corner Pocket Taproom. Today, you'll find him running The Bohemian Café with his wife, Jennifer. Jennifer is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design and met Kevin during at internship in Charleston. She has been in the restaurant business for decades with a focus on service and hospitality.
The couple has worked together since 2001 and were married in 2002. They have a son Joseph who is 17 and daughter Nichole who is 15. At their home you'll find them tending goats, chickens, ducks, honeybees and building a 2nd greenhouse out of reclaimed windows which will have an aquaponics system incorporated, and a 1/2 acre garden. You'll find this attention to sustainable living in their restaurant, too. Jennifer describes the food as "the freshest we can get so that customers are fed like we feed our own family."
Taylor DWyer | Manager
As General Manager, Taylor oversees the restaurant as well as caterings and our social media accounts. With previous experience at Pebble Creek Country Club and The Cliffs at Valley, she loves interacting with customers and making their experience a great one. “I love what I do,” she’ll tell you. “And seeing customers’ reactions makes it all worth it.”
DEVIN DWYER | ASSISTANT MANAGER
Before joining The Bohemian Café in 2017, Devin worked at The Pebble Creek Grille where he met his wife, Taylor. He loves the relaxed atmosphere created at The Bohemian and enjoys meeting new people. Looking to chat? You can often catch him behind the bar mixing cocktails or talking sports with customers.
