2019 has been a fantastic year at The Bohemian, we have had some new adventures and stepped out of our comfort zones for sure! I took on my first EVER wedding cake for some long time strawberry cake fans, it was so fun walking through the journey of picking out flavors with them. We catered for some wonderful families and businesses around the upstate. Our Boho family has had a mix of wins and losses this year and we are all excited to see what 2020 will bring!
The restaurant will be closed on New Year’s Day to celebrate with our friends and families, making memories and keeping up with traditions. Chef Kevin and I will be jingling our change in our pockets (for prosperity), smooching our ♥ , making toasts and noise on New Year’s Eve. What are your traditions? Do you jump into the new year like Denmark? Throw water out of your window? (Puerto Rico) Keep your windows and doors open to let out the previous year like in the Philippines? How about taking an empty suitcase for a walk around the block to ensure a year of travels like those in Colombia? Whatever your New Years’ traditions are we all hope that you have a safe, happy and healthy new year!
